RETURN POLICY

7-Day No-Hassle Return Procedure

We appreciate your business and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange it within seven days of receipt.

  • No returns or exchanges are allowed after 7 days.
  • All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by original receipt.
  • All merchandise must be returned in original condition. Grills and fire items that have been used are not returnable.
  • Refunds will be issued as paid, except no cash refunds will be given. Check refunds on cash and check payments will be made no sooner than 10 days after deposit and issued from the corporate office.
  • No returns or exchanges are allowed on a Lay-Away, Special Order, Clearance and "As-Is" merchandise, delivery charge, fabric or furniture protection products, and no refunds will be issued. Other seasonal merchandise may have specific return restrictions posted in the store.

Note: Shipping is not refundable on items returned due to customer preference or change of mind.

Holiday Returns

Due to the seasonal nature of Christmas, returns will not be accepted after December 24th. All purchases made after December 24th are subject to the following policy: No returns, cancellations or price adjustments.

  • For holiday purchases, all returns and exchanges must be accompanied by the original receipt.
  • No CODs, holds, layaways, or quotes are eligible for this offer.
  • All refunds for cash purchases will be refunded by check and mailed to the address on file. Credit card refunds will be issued to the original card of purchase only.

Note: Shipping is not refundable on items returned due to customer preference or change of mind.


How to begin the return process:

If you received your order via White Glove Delivery:

Step 1: Contact our Customer Service Team at 1-855-337-8785 or email at customer.service@fortunoffbys.com, and let us know the reason for your return.
Step 2: Our Customer Service Team will issue you a credit memo and schedule a delivery team to pick up the returned items. Once the items have been scanned back into our warehouse, our Customer Service Team will issue a refund.

If you received your order via UPS:

Step 1: Contact our Customer Service Team at 1-855-337-8785 or email at customer.service@fortunoffbys.com, and let us know the reason for your return.
Step 2: Our Customer Service Team will coordinate with UPS. Once we receive the returned items from the carrier, our Customer Service Team will issue a refund to your card.

Note: Depending on the weight of the item, a return fee of up to $50 may apply.

If you received your order via freight or another mail carrier:

Step 1: Contact our Customer Service Team at 1-855-337-8785 or email at customer.service@fortunoffbys.com, and let us know the reason for your return.
Step 2: The customer is responsible for getting their items repacked onto a pallet or box and scheduling a mail carrier or freight return pick-up.


Manufacturer's Warranty and Exclusions

Most merchandise sold by Fortunoff® Backyard Store comes with a limited warranty provided by the manufacturer for residential use. A copy of this warranty is available for inspection upon request before purchase. In most cases, Fortunoff® Backyard Store will act as an agent for the manufacturer in making any warranty adjustments or processing any warranty claims. The customer should call our Customer Service Team at 1-855-337-8785 or email at customer.service@fortunoffbys.com. Please retain your original receipt for any warranty claims.

Other than the manufacturer's limited warranty, there are no other warranties given with the merchandise. Fortunoff® Backyard Store makes no warranty of any kind concerning the merchandise, express or implied, including the warranty of merchantability or of fitness for a particular purpose.
